ChurchMtTrail (55k image)

Our trip to the Church Moutain Trail, meeting with a member of the Mt Baker Hiking club, and finishing up around the table at Milano's was a great trip!

Here are Leroy's comments:

During our walk on Church Mountain a while back I was reminded of one of m favorite poems:
>
> THE SPIRE OF MY CHURCH
> The spire of my church
> Though unseen reaches the stars.
> Its foundation rests firm in earth's keep.
> Its creed is as big and as broad as the sky
> That encircles the earth in its sweep.
> It's brethren are those who inhabit the earth
> Mankind, the great and the small;
> The sons of Muhammad, the Rabbi, the Priest,
> This cathedral has room for us all.
> God speaks to me in the stir of a leaf,
> In the glorious song of a bird
> And my pew is a log or a mountain crag
> Wherever his voice is heard.
> Author unknown
